Preston Goodrich

GOODRICH, Preston J.- Age 86, of Bancroft, passed away March 6, 2020 surrounded by loved ones. Services and interment will be held at a later date at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society or Ronald McDonald House. Preston was born August 1, 1933 in Senath, MO, the son of Ceburn E. and Alice Irene (Brannon) Goodrich. He was married to the love of his life Anna Wheeler on February 22, 1955 in Hernando, MS. Mr. Goodrich was a Veteran of the Korean War. He was a truck driver and he was a Business Agent for  the Teamsters Local #332.  He loved to fish, hunt, and was always exploring. He also enjoyed watching Nascar, Baseball and Supercross. Mr. Goodrich was a farmer and he was the Fire Chief of the Harquahala Valley, AZ fire department that he helped establish. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Anna; children, Delbert (Lenora) Goodrich, Anita ( Kenneth) Kellogg, Michael (Nancy) Goodrich, James (Lela) Goodrich, Cindy (Jesse) Rowe; grandchildren, Kimberly, Heather, Tammy, Tiffany, Jeremy, Kevin, Mikie, Chrystal, Kayla, Jesse, Preston and Kristina; 20 great- grandchildren, and one great great-grandson; sisters-in-law, Kathy and Sandy; very special friend Gloria; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Raymond, Alvin, Victor, Arthur and Joe; sisters, Frances Hall and Mary Hedges; grandson Jimmy; great-grandson Colton; brother- in -law Roger Coley.
