DREWETT, Phyllis Madelion - age 93, formerly of Fenton, died Saturday, January 6, 2018 in Alabama. Funeral service will be held 1 PM Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Fenton First Presbyterian Church, 503 S. Leroy St., Fenton. The family will receive friends from 12 PM - 1 PM Saturday at the church. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society. She was born in Flint July 23, 1924 to Malcolm and Lucy Lutze. She married Jay Drewett in 1943. After serving in US Army, Jay was discharged and he and Phyllis moved to Big Rapids, Michigan. She had three children, Patricia Cameron, Craig Jay and Rebecca Lynne. Phyllis was an American Red Cross volunteer for 13 years at Flint Osteopathic Hospital. She was a member of Mundy Presbyterian Church for 35 years and then a member of Fenton Presbyterian Church. Preceding her in death was her husband Jay, son Craig, daughter Rebecca, sisters Cecile, Inez, Lura, Thelma, and Mary, and a brother Gordon. Surviving are daughter Patricia, her husband Tim, granddaughter Ellen and her husband Robert and their son Tate, daughter-in-law Lynne, grandson Brad and his wife April and their daughter Emily and granddaughter Meagan, as well as several nieces and nephews.
