BUTTS, Phyllis Louise (Alden) Â Age 91, of Crawfordsville, IN, formerly of Flint and Orlando, FL, died Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at Williamsburg Health Care, Crawfordsville, IN. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Saturday, April 9, 2005 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Pastor Dennis Lutz officiating. Interment will be held at Sunset Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the time of service on Saturday. She was born November 4, 1913 in Shiawassee County, the daughter of Rollin C. and Elizabeth M. (Bruce) Alden. She was a 1930 graduate of Durand High School, a graduate of Baker Business College and a graduate of Cosmetology School. She married James E. Butts in Flint on May 2, 1953 and he preceded her in death on January 26, 1995. She was employed by Carlson Sheet Metal and Dr. Dodds office as a bookkeeper for many years. She resided in Crawfordsville, IN since 1998 coming from Orlando, FL where she had resided since 1984, living in Flint before then. Surviving are: step-son, Norman Butts and wife, Vicki of Swartz Creek; three grandchildren, Jill and husband, Dennis Brown of Howell, Wendy and husband, Bill Ebatz of Mt. Clemens, John Placer and wife, Kelly of North Dakota; eight great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Carl Butts and wife, Beverly of Veedersburg, IN; two sisters-in-law, Gayle Lee, Ina MaeFrance, both of Covington, IN.
