BOYCE , Phyllis Ann - Age 82, of Fenton, died July 4, 2014. Private Funeral services will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Interment in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint.. Those desiring may make contributions to the Phyllis A. Boyce Memorial Fund c/o Karen Negri. Phyllis was born October 13, 1931 in Flint the daughter of William A. and Anna Louise (Mielens) Geiersbach. She was a 1949 graduate of Flint Central High School. She married Richard L. Boyce on October 1, 1949 in Flint; he preceded her in death April 8, 1999. Phyllis worked at the Hurley School of Nursing and then most recently secretary for Trinity Lutheran Church in Fenton. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Surviving are: her two children, Karen (Joseph) Negri of Naples, FL and Pagosa Springs, CO, Richard (Mary) Boyce Jr. of Kewadin, MI; five grandchildren. Robert (Hillary) Negri, Bridget (Andy) Woodman, Logan Boyce, Jade Boyce, Richard Boyce III; great-grandchildren, Skylar, Aidan and Lincoln Negri; Nate and Lilly Woodman; niece Judy Romanowski; nephew Robert (Nancy) Cummings; great niece, Gina Romanowski; great-nephew, Ross Romanowski all of Grand Blanc; many more nieces and nephews. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister Margery Cummings. The family extends a special thanks to Dr. Martin Lapa for his special care given to Phyllis.
