Phyllis Anderson

Anderson, Phyllis A. - Age 83 of Flint, died November 11, 2017. Services will be held 11:00 AM at Our Risen Lord, 4040 Lapeer Rd., Burton. Burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 12-4 and 6-8PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek and at the church Thursday from 10AM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Genesee County Humane Society or Our Risen Lord Church. Phyllis was born on March 9, 1934 to Conrad and Emelia O. (Sand) Hanson. She married Robert A. Anderson in Gully, MN on April 19, 1951 and he preceded her in death on January 4, 2016. Mrs. Anderson was employed with Bill Knapp Restaurant as a waitress for 20 years retiring in 1996. Phyllis and Robert had resided in Flint since 1955 coming from Gully, MN. She enjoyed quilting, genealogy, camping and traveling as well as being a member of the Flint Doll Collectors club, and the Organic Club. Surviving are children; Kimberly Anderson, Christine Anderson both of Flint; brothers, Richard Hanson and Victor and Pam Hanson; sister, Claudia and Larry Binkley; special cousin, Elmer Hanson; sister-in-law, Linda Anderson; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Lydia Anderson; brother and sister-in-law, Allen and Connie Hanson; niece, Angela Binkley-Burk; great nephew, Bjorn Hanson; sister-in-law, Mary Hanson; brother-in-law, Delano Anderson.
