Phuong Burton

BURTON, Phuong Thi "Tina" - Age 53, of Durand, died Monday, January 16, 2017. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd, Swartz Creek Wednesday from 5-8 PM, Thursday where a prayer service will be held from 4-7 PM, and Friday from 8:00-8:30 AM followed by the procession to the crematory. Tina was born June 7, 1963 in Laos, the daughter of Tam Nguyen and Ly (Trinh) Nguyen. She married Ricky D. Burton July 16, 2003 in Durand. She had resided in Durand since 1992 coming from Lansing. Tina retired in 2016 from GMSPO after 32 years of service. Surviving are: her husband, Rick; daughter, Cindy Nguyen of Lansing; sons, Steve (Moani) Burton of Lansing and Cody Burton of Grand Ledge; grandchildren, Cole and Elly Burton; father, Tam Nguyen of Milwaukee, WI; 4 sisters, 3 brothers, and several nieces and nephews.
