Phillip Stange

STANGE, Phillip A. -- Age 77, of Swartz Creek, died September 18, 2016. A memorial service will be held 5 PM Monday September 26 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, under the auspices of Durand Eagles # 3851. Visitation will be held 4PM until time of service on Monday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to Lucky Day Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 13, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48480. Phillip was born January 18, 1939 in Flint the son of Wilfred C. J. and Dolice (Marion) Stange. He married Geraldine C. Szydlowski in Flint on April 29, 1959. He was a musician, playing bass fiddle in various bands. He enjoyed wood working. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Stange; 3 children, Sherry Lynn (Michael) Greiner, Phillip A. (Sarah) Stange, Dolice (Darren) Anderson; 6 grandchildren; 1 sister, Dolice Rogers. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John Carl, Robert Earl, Wilfred James.
