Pearl Sparks

SPARKS, Pearl H., age 90, of Mt. Morris, formerly of Fenton, died Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at home. Graveside services will be held 11AM Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at Fairview Cemetery, Linden. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Children's Hospital of Michigan. Pearl was born April 11, 1917 in Shell Lake, Wisconsin the daughter of Fred and Ida (Hahn) Schwartz. She graduated in 1935 from Fenton High School, was employed by General Motors until retirement in 1970 and  a past member of the U.A.W. Surviving are her 3 children, Cherrile Bauer (Theodore) of Houghton Lake, David Sparks of Mt. Morris, James Sparks (Barbara) of Arizona; 11 grandchildren, Amy, Aaron, Adam, Steve, Paul, Brian, Sherry, Cindy, Scott, Mike and Mark; 13 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Irene Bangert of Texas, Arlene McKown of California, Ruby Leach of Fenton; 1 brother, Chester Schwartz of Houghton Lake and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Sarah Sparks in 1999; 3 brothers, Norman, Fred and Elmer Schwartz; 4 sisters, Cora Graham, Lee Butcher, Goldie McLeod, Sue Baker; and good friend, Zelpha Shaw.
