Pauline Murphy

MURPHY, Pauline- Age 84, of Flushing, died December 12, 2016. Funeral services will be held 6:30 PM Wednesday, December 14 at Sharp Funeral Homes Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Al Fahlen officiating. Visitation will take place 1-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Pauline was born June 26, 1932 in Flint, the daughter of Omar and Yvonne Savoie. Pauline was a 1950 graduate of St. Michael Catholic School. She married William Murphy in Flint on August 19, 1950. She was a cashier at the Pierson Road Meijers location for twenty two years, retiring in 1988. Pauline was an award winning sales representative for Avon and a member of the Red Hat Society. She spent time making blankets. She was very much a people person. She is survived by her children, Kathleen Snyder, Paula (Richard) Dellinger, and William Murphy; grandchildren, Aimee Snyder, Elizabeth (Jeremy) Boggs, Sarah (Jason) Ludens, Bridget Forton, Benjamin Skipper, Dan (Angie) Dellinger, and Rich (Kristy) Dellinger; seventeen great grandchildren; brother, Jerry (Doris) Gagne. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William A. Murphy in 2002, daughters, Sherry Murphy-Lait in 1995 and Peggi Murphy in 2011.
