Pauline Mogensen

MOGENSEN, Pauline Christine, age 83, of Burton, passed away Friday, August 8, 2008 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Services will be 3PM Friday, August 15, 2008 at Victory Church, 2901 Brown St., Flint. Pastor Chad Montague officiating. Pauline was born October 17, 1924 in Flint the daughter of the late Elbert and Emma (Gillis) Crawford. She married Eric Mogensen on September 8, 1951 in Mt. Morris and he preceded her in death on January 28, 1987. Pauline was employed by AC during the war, as many women did during that time. She found it most important in her life to raise her children well and teach them independence by her example. She enjoyed taking care of things on her own, even into her last days. She was dearly loved by her family and will be missed. Surviving are her 4 children, Emma Randol (Randy) of Davison; Sena Cheney (Bill) of Burton, Paula Mogensen of Burton, Eric Mogensen of Genesee. 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Norma Wierzbicki of AZ, Edna Russell of Columbiaville, Jean Chervus (Earl) of Gladwin; sister-in-law, Rose Crawford; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her sister Veda Noffsinger; brother, Leslie Crawford and infant twin brother, Paul.
