Paula Verkennes

VERKENNES, Paula M. -- Age 58, of Flint, formerly of Swartz Creek died December 27, 2015. A Remembrance Service will be held, for family and close friends, 1 PM Saturday January 2, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Kevin Knox officiating. Visitation will take place Saturday from 10 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the family c/o Sharp Funeral Homes. Paula was born September 10, 1957 in Flint to Paul and Eleanor (Christoff) LaBanc. She was previously employed as a waitress at Valley Family Restaurant and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and dogs. Paula is survived by two sons, Gary (Danielle) Rustin and Kenny (Victoria) Rustin; three grandchildren, Kylar, Gavin, and Ashley. Brother, John LaBanc and sister, Kathy (Randy) Huber.
