TYMRAK, Paul M. - Age 86, of Gaines, died Friday, June 11, 2010 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 9450 Duffield Rd., Gaines. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Sunday, 2-4 & 6-8 Pm Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek and from 10 AM until the time of Mass Tuesday at church. A rosary will be prayed 7 PM Monday at the funeral home. Paul was born April 2, 1924 in Lansing, the son of Michael and Nancy (Ciolek) Tymrak. He was a graduate of Northern High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in WWII. Mr. Tymrak retired from General Motors in 1986 with 42 years of service. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Tymrak enjoyed golfing, reading and working outdoors. He was a beloved father and grandfather and will be dearly missed. Surviving are: children, Kenneth and wife Sally Tymrak of Swartz Creek, Marian and husband Ted Coffield of Gaines, Rose and husband Mark Piechowski of Grand Blanc; grandchildren, Jennifer and husband Eric Ariazi, Jacquline and husband Damon Hastings, Patricia and husband Mark Pattee, Christopher Coffield and fiancee Erin Weatherly, Katie Coffield and Marci Piechowski; greatgrandchildren, Taylor Jane Hastings and Ellanna Elizabeth Pattee; brother, Floyd and wife Mary Tymrak; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Josephine on February 22, 1995. Tributes may be posted on the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
