Paul Jerome Springer

February 17, 1942 — August 18, 2007

SPRINGER,  Paul Jerome, Sr. "Pete", age 65 of Flint died at Hurley Medical Center, Saturday, August 18, 2007. Paul was born in Detroit on February 17, 1942 the son of Raymond and Emily (Symons) Springer.  He has lived in the Flint area most of his life. He and Judith Crawley, his dear wife of 45 years were married in Flint on May 12, 1962.  Paul was employed at Chevrolet Mfg. Co.  as a machine operator for 30 years and retired in October of 1998.  He enjoyed photography, gardening and traveling out West. Paul was a devoted and loving, dad and "Papa".  Surviving is his wife Judith, his sons: Raymond A. Springer and special friend Tracy Moore, Paul Jerome Springer, Jr.and fiance, Tina and an adopted son Joseph Earegood.  Also surviving are his  3 grandchildren; Carlie and her mother, Tina Springer, Matthew and Charles.  Further survivors are his 3 sisters:  Bonnie Urban, Aggie Sills, Delores Rudder; a brother, Tom Springer, a sister-in-law Shirley Olson and many nieces and nephews and his best friend "Macho", his dog.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Pat Bacon.  Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Pastor Mack McGee and Sister Birdie Goodson will officiate and burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.  Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6 to 9 P.M. tonight and Monday from 1 to 9 P.M. and Tuesday 1 P.M. to service time.  Online condolences or tributes may be posted on the obituary page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
