Pruiett, Paul E. - Age 92, of Lapeer, formerly of Flint, passed away April 12, 2013. Services will be 12:30 PM Wednesday, April 17 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Entombment in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation from 10 AM until the time of service Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimers Association, Paralyzed Veterans of America or the Wounded Warrior Project. Paul was born April 3, 1921 in Caruthersville, Missouri the son of James Ezra and Effie Mae (Smith) Pruiett. He married Irene Patterson on May 16, 1941 in Flint; she preceded him in death March 27, 2005. Paul was the owner/operator of Webb's TV in Flint. He was a WWII veteran and P.O.W. as Corporal in the U.S. Army. He was a life member of the Masonic Lodge #458 in Swartz Creek, Eastern Star, Shriner, Lodge Council Chapter Consistory Scottish Rite 32 degree and Order of Job's Daughter Bethel # 31 Council. Paul was an avid golfer, shuffle boarder in Tucson, and bowler. Surviving are: companion Juanita Eurich; sister Wanda Harrison; children, James (Paulette) of Denton TX, April (David) Post of Lapeer, Nelly (Denny) Myers of Burton; grandchildren, Tamara, Tracy, Carrie, Brian, Brandon, Karissa; 14 great-grandchildren; and 1great-great-grandchild.; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Irene; son Frank; and grandson, James Aaron Myers. Tributes may be shared on the obituaries page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
