Paul Pickett

Age 91, of Fenton, died June 5, 2018. Funeral services will be held 12:30 PM Monday, June 11, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 AM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to Hurley Medical Center. Paul was born January 14, 1927 in Stockbridge, MI, the son of Warner and Nellie (Paul) Pickett. He was married to Betty Barnum on February 14, 1953; she preceded him in death on February 20, 1991. Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in WWII. He had worked for the railroad and retired from General Motors. He was a member of the Fenton Eagles, Script A Club, Livingston A Club and Ford V-8 Club. Paul enjoyed restoring old cars, playing Euchre, trains and working on his lawn and garden. He is survived by his son, Craig (Gina) Pickett; daughter, Carol (Tom) Crabtree; grandchildren, Lauren and Alex Crabtree; sister, Donna Jean Lock. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
