PARTRIDGE, Â Paul R., age 83 of Flint, died Monday, August 7, 2006 at Genesys Health Park. Â Mr. Partridge was born in Flint March 3, 1923 the son of Edgar and Ethel (Harrison) and he has lived in the Flint area all his lifetime. Â He was employed by General Motors as a cutter and grinder, retiring after 39 years of service. Â He was a veteran of the U.S.Army Air Force serving in W.W.II and was a member of the American Legion Post 0225 in Lansing. Â He also was a longtime member of U.A.W. Local 1292. Surviving are three daughters; Paula Hadden of Flint Polly Dennis of Flint and Kay (Brian) Weaver of Flint. One son Richard (Sherry) Partridge of St. Clair Shores. Â Also surviving are 10 grandchildren; Angela, Lori, Cori, Jeffrey, Brianna, Jennifer, Ryan, Richard, Emily and Cortney. 18 great-grandchildren. Further survivors are a niece Kathy (Bill) Davis and nephew Jerry (Sue) Lockhart and a lifelong friend, Paul Rudolph. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Patricia in 1961 and his second wife Pauline in 1991, a great-granddaughter, Selena and a daughter, Elaine and a sister Lois. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 11, 2006 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Grand Blanc, Twp. 6063 Fenton Rd. Â Rev. Glenn Snider will officiate and burial will take place in Meadowview Memorial Cemetery in Davison.
