MAZZA, Paul Thomas "Cruz", "Tommy", "Maz" age 62, died Saturday May 21, 2016 at home in the care of his loving family. A celebration of life will be held 11:30 A.M. Monday, May 23, 2016 at Flushing Community Church of the Nazarene, 9500 W. Pierson Rd., Flushing with Pastor Terry Bate officiating. A private burial will have already taken place. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Home, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Contributions may be made to the Paul Mazza Memorial Fund. Paul was born on August 29, 1953 to Paul Anthony Mazza and Sana Lee Mazza-Himelhoch, in Clarksburg, WV. Paul leaves behind his spouse, Geri Mazza; his daughter, Angela Leah, two sons, Paul (Tony) and Jonathan Mazza and step daughter Rachelle Sly; his five grandchildren, Dominick, Jonathan, Damien, Madden and Jagger as well as two siblings Ramona and Brian Mazza. Son of an Italian family, Paul was an amazing soul and led an authentic life. He deeply loved his family, worked hard, set up several businesses, enjoyed playing golf and taking care of others. He was a world traveler and always on the go. He was a PGA teaching professional, he owned and operated a woodworking and furniture restoration company, "Anthony's Furniture Clinic", and had a passion for antiques and real estate. Many can attest to the way he connected with people. Everyone loved being around him. Many people sought after his wisdom and enjoyed the humorous ways he presented the truths of life. Witty, genuine and candid; Paul crafted a life that inspired many, and lived life the way he wanted to live it. He will be deeply missed.
