Paul Wilkey Mallard

Mallard, Paul Wilkey – age 81, of Lake Ann, MI, formerly of Flint, MI, passed away November 19, 2024. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473 with his son in law, Pastor Philip Wysocki officiating. Interment will follow at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 11 AM – 1 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Paul was born March 18, 1943, in Dyersburg, TN, the son of Martin W. and Mattie Pearl (Winters) Mallard. He married Hazel Marie Schaar on November 14, 1970, and she preceded him in death in September 2011. Paul owned several small businesses throughout his life including real estate, rentals and a pawn shop. He loved living on Lake Ann and enjoyed lake life, fishing from his dock and watching the boats. Paul was a member of Anchor Landmark Baptist Church in Interlochen, MI. Surviving are: children, Kimberly (Philip) Wysocki of Lake Ann, Carrol Keys of Burton, Marlene (James) Gilbert of Swartz Creek, Larry Keys of Linden, Allan (Mary) Keys of Grand Blanc, Brian (Susie) Keys of Franklin, GA; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Oralee (Jerry) Powell and Elese (David) Maloy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Mattie Mallard; wife, Hazel Mallard; siblings, Estelle Hobbs, Arlen Mallard, Dorothy Partin and Fred Mallard.
