Paul Gordon

GORDON, Paul Joe - Age 71, of Columbiaville, died Thursday, August 11, 2016. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Pastor Daniel L. Burger officiating. Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI. Visitation will be held at the funeral home 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM Tuesday. Paul was born October 6, 1944 in Flint, the son of John Elmore and Ada Dorothea (Gary) Gordon. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Army. He married Kathleen Stevenson September 3, 1971 in Flint. He retired from GM Buick Motors Division where he was a millwright. He had resided in Columbiaville for the past 47 years coming from Flint. Paul was a member of the U.A.W. Local 599. He coached little league baseball and football for many years and also was a referee in Lapeer. Surviving are: his wife of 45 years, Kathleen; 3 children, Amy (Tim) Mitchell of Clio, Bryan (Amy Buck) Gordon of Minnesota, and Kristopher (Jen) Gordon of Imlay City; grandchildren, Caleb, Mya, Madison, Aiden, and Christian; and brother, Larry (Midge) Gordon of Holly; and many more family members and friends.
