Paul Glandon

GLANDON, Paul Gene - Age 77, of Mt. Morris, died Tuesday, February 24, 2015. Funeral services will be held 12PM Monday March 2, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Burial will follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held 1PM - 8PM Sunday and 10AM until time of service Monday at the funeral home. Paul was born February 10, 1938 in Bruno, West Virginia, the son of the late Dell and Belva (Wells) Glandon. Paul served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps. He married Dessie Manns on April 7, 1959 in Logan, West Virginia. Paul retired from G.M. Metal Fab with 30 years of service. He enjoyed playing guitar, listening to country music, golfing and bowling. Surviving are: wife, Dessie of Mt. Morris; daughter Pam Hart of Mt. Morris; son, Bill (Melissa) Glandon of Flint; 3 grandchildren, Paul Hart of AZ, Tiffany (Matt) Webster of Flint, Karinna Glandon of Flint; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Brenda Blackman of West Virginia; numerous nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Clayton Glandon; sisters, Eloise Wheeling, Alice Wyatt, Avis Glandon; and son-in-law, Ken Hart.
