Eversgerd, Paul B. - Age 80, of Swartz Creek, died December 7, 2018. Funeral mass will be celebrated 1:30 PM Monday, December 10 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Church, 4413 Morrish Road, Swartz Creek. Fr. Louis Ekka celebrant. Entombment will follow at Crestwood Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Sunday, December 9 at Sharp Funeral Homes & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint, and 12:30 - 1:30 Monday at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to the Parkinson's Foundation. Paul was born on March 20, 1938 in Germantown, Illinois, the son of Conrad and Leona (Rakers) Eversgerd. Paul worked for General Motors - Buick for 29 years retiring in 1993. He married Mary Ellen Wickham in Flint on November 6, 1965. He was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. He enjoyed camping, going to Florida for the winters, and spending time with his grandkids. Surviving are his wife of 53 years Mary Ellen; daughter, Kathy (William) Black of Swartz Creek; two grandchildren, Tyler Black and Lauren Black of Swartz Creek; brother-in-law, LaVerne Breiner of Damonsville, Illinois; sister, Florence Kane of Marissa IL; several nieces and nephews . He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James (Martha) Eversgerd; sister, Juliann Breiner; brother-in-law, Mark Kane. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
