Elkins Sr., Paul R. - Age 79, of White Lake, passed away August 13, 2024. Paul was born October 5, 1944 in Big Sandy, West Virginia, the son of Carl and Ferbie (Sweeney) Elkins. Paul married Florence F. Woodlock on November 27, 1965 in Ohio. Paul began working at General Motors and retired with 30 years of service. He then went to Feldman Automotive and worked there for 20 years. Paul was a very active member and former Worthy President of F.O.E. #2887 in Waterford. He enjoyed bowling, NASCAR, and watching Old Western Movies, and listening to Bluegrass music. Paul also was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers, and the Detroit Lions. Surviving are: daughters, Cynthia (John) Ferguson, Karen Vaughn and daughter-in-law, Kellie Elkins; grandchildren, Amy (Dane) Clark, Bradley Ferguson, Nicolas Jasieniecki, Hunter Vaughn,Tyler Elkins; great grandchildren, Lilah Clark, Hunter Jasieniecki, August Jasieniecki, Harlow Elkins; siblings, Troy Elkins, John (Mary Jane) Elkins, Jean Dunn, Yvonne Kanyuch, Gary (Diane) Webb; several nieces, nephews and other beloved family. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Florence on May 6, 2016; son Paul R. Elkins Jr.; four brothers, Kermit Elkins, Mike Elkins, Thurman "Bud" Elkins, Charles Elkins; sister Norma Marie Judy. 

Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Those desiring may make contributions to American Cancer Society.
