Paul Bowker

BOWKER, Paul Charles - Age 73, of Swartz Creek, formerly of Essexville, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Cremation Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Memorial Contributions in Paul's memory would be appreciated to Toys for Tots. Paul was born March 10, 1949 in Essexville, the son of Charles and Shirley (Darling) Bowker. He graduated from Essexville-Garber High School in 1968. Paul was employed as a fork lift driver for 30 + years with GM, retiring in 2015. Earlier, Paul was employed by Aenta Cement Company in Essexville, Essexville Lanes, East Land Lanes, and A.C.E. Vending. He enjoyed building and collecting model ships. Paul also enjoyed watching the ships pass thru the Soo Looks. He loved photography and anything involving ships or railroads. Paul also was an avid bowler. Paul is survived by his life companion, Cynthia Kay Carpenter; children, Matthew Bowker, Joseph Bowker, Brandy (Fred) Soares, Candace (Ernie) Diaz, Bridget (Steve) Lillieberg, Dan (Cindi) Carpenter, Heidi (John) Rowe, Christopher Carpenter, and Gretchen Carpenter; numerous grandchildren; a great grand daughter; siblings, Ashley Wynne, Mark (Julie) Bowker, Judy (Gary) Asel, Carla (Tom) Bowker,Greg (Jean) Bowker, and Brenda (Bill) Clark; numerous nieces and nephews.
