BODIS, Paul R.- Age 74, of Mundy Township, died Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Avalon Hospice. Â Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at St. Christopher Episcopal Church, 9020 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc. Â The Reverend George L. Cleaves, Jr. officiating. Â Burial in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Â Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton from 6-9 PM Monday, 1-4 and 6-9 PM Tuesday, and at the church from 10 AM until time of service Wednesday. Â Those desiring may make contributions to St. Christopher Episcopal Church Building Fund or Organ Fund, Avalon Hospice or a charity of one's choice. Â Mr. Bodis was born April 7, 1932 in Flint, the son of Nick and Julia Ann (Dennis) Bodis. Â He had resided in the Mundy Township area most of his life. Â He was a WWII Veteran serving in the U.S. Army in Germany as a MP. Â He married Donna L. Summerville July 14, 1955 in Angola, IN and she preceded him in death September 3, 1987. Â He retired from GM V-8 engine plant in 1998 as a pipefitter. Â He also was a Master Plumber and worked for Shank-Coupland-Long. He then owned and operated Residential Plumbers and also farmed. Â He was the founder and co-owner with his daughter, Janie Kirby of 4B Farms, Trucks, Trailer and Equipment since 1982. Â Surviving are: daughter, Janie and husband Barry, Jr. Kirby of Mundy Township; grandson, Maximus Kirby of Mundy Township; companion, Doris Dimock of Flint Township; 2 sisters, Adeline Helen Ponder of Flint and Evelyn Leineke of Clio; many nieces and nephews. Â He was also preceded in death by 2 sons, Paul A. and Todd Bodis; daughter, Twila Bodis. Â The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Avalon Hospice.
