Patty Sawade

SAWADE, Patty Rae - age 77, of Fenton, died September 5, 2019. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430 with Pastor Ed Chandler officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linden. Visitation will be held 11 AM - 1 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. Patty was born December 22, 1941 in Dunklin County, MO, the daughter of Elmer Lewis and Maudie (Tolley) Hayes. She married Dale Jerome Sawade on May 12, 1962 and he preceded her in death on April 15, 2009. Surviving are: son, Dale James (Freda) Sawade of Linden; daughter, Kelli (Timothy) Kniffel of Fenton; four grandchildren, Samantha (Fletcher), Justin, Hannah, and Tyler; three great-granddaughters, Zarya, Naya, and Alayna; brother, Johnnie Hayes of Florida; close friend, Jim Workman.
