Patsy Doty

DOTY, Patsy Helen - age 81, of Burton, died Sunday, April 2, 2017 at her residence. Services will be held 12 PM Friday, April 7, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment of cremated remains will follow at Crestwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 AM - 12 PM Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association. Mrs. Doty was born August 17, 1935 in Edmore, MI, the daughter of James and Alice (Harrison) Benjamin. She was a 1953 graduate of Dye High School and married Donald G. Doty on September 12, 1954. Mrs. Doty resided in Burton for 52 years. She loved going to casinos and playing Bingo. Surviving are: four children, Dennis W. (Lorraine) Doty of FL, Richard A. Doty of FL, Michael G. (Julie) Doty of Grand Rapids, and Brenda J. Doty of Burton; six granddaughters; two grandsons; and six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Richard Benjamin, John (Carol) Benjamin, and Chuck (Pat) Benjamin; sister, Elaine Doty of Swartz Creek; many nieces and nephews.
