Patrick Carl McCURRY

MCCURRY, Patrick Carl "Rick" - age 56, of Byron, died Thursday, November 24, 2011 as a result of an automobile accident. Services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Pasto David Wichert officiating. Interment will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Sunday, 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday and 11 AM until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans. Rick was born April 18, 1955 in Wyandotte, MI, the son of Grover Gordon and Mary Lou (Pittnam) McCurry. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and had worked at Honeywell as a senior service technician for over 30 years. Surviving are: wife, Gloria McCurry; son, Chris McCurry of Ypsilanti Twp; four siblings, Jane (Wayne) Yops of Grosse Isle, Gordon McCurry of Lincoln Park, Rita (Jim) Pesavento of Southgate, and Paul (Geri) McCurry of Wyandotte; numerous nieces and nephews.
