KELLEY, Patrick Howard - Age 80, of Fenton, died Thursday, January 28, 2021. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Fenton United Methodist Church, 119 S. Leroy St, Fenton (A live stream of the service may be viewed on Pat's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Pastor Michelle Forsyth officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Linden, Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Monday from 4-8 PM where a Lion Club Memorial Service will be held at 7 PM. An additional celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions to the Linden Sportsmen Club, c/o AIM Program.
Pat was born October 23, 1940 in Jackson, the son of Howard Sherman and Ruth E. (Van Etten) Kelley. He was a 1958 graduate of Hoover High School. He married Joyce L. Willcut June 17, 1961 in Jackson. He retired from Asbestos Workers Local #47 after 45 years of service. Pat was a member of Fenton United Methodist Church where he was active with the United Methodist Men. He was a member of the Linden and Grand Blanc Sportsmen Club's and was a life member of the ATA. He also was member of the Fenton Lions Club. He was a charitable person. Pat was not an ordinary man. He was a protector and provider for his family. He loved his Michigan Wolverine and the outdoors. He was a friend to many, a stranger to none. Best of all he loved his family and would do anything for them. He will be greatly missed.
Surviving are: his wife of 60 years, Joyce; daughter, Kathleen (Mark) Stadler of Linden; grandchildren, David (Nina) Stadler of Washington State, Matthew Stadler of Washington State, Brandi (Corey) Nuckels of Grand Rapids, and Brittany Stewart of Fenton; great grandson, Johnathon Stadler; sister, Karen Resseguie of Burton; sister-in-law, Shirley Kelley of Clio; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kimberly Harris; and brother, Michael Kelley. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
