DUGGAN, Patrick Francis - Age 75, of Holly, died Friday, June 1, 2012. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Timothy Yankee officiating. Burial immediately following in White Chapel Cemetery, Troy. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM and Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time of service. Contributions may be made to Adopt-A-Pet, 13575 Fenton Road, Fenton, MI 48430. Patrick was born August 2, 1936 in Tainesville, OH, the son of Patrick Joseph and Helen Evelyn (Hassenzahl) Duggan. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Wayne State University and a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University. Patrick retired from the Pontiac Police Department and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Pontiac Chapter #132. He also was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Fraternal Order of Eagles in Pontiac, the Holly Township Planning Commission and was the director of the Pontiac Police Athletic League. Surviving are: wife, Diane; 3 sons, Michael (Cindy) Duggan of Waterford, Scott (Mary) Duggan of Berkley and Daniel (Belinda) Duggan of Troy; 2 grandchildren, Lindsey (Daniel) Berman of Dallas, TX and Kelsey Duggan of Waterford; brother, Paul (Geri) Duggan of Goodrich; mother-in-law, Erma Dennis of Florida; stepson, Aaron VanGilder of North Carolina; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick Joseph and Helen Evelyn Duggan and stepdaughter, Joann Inman.
