Patricia was born on May 16, 1932 to Felix and Cecelia Zacharska in Detroit Michigan. Patricia was the oldest of three sisters. She worked for Ma-Bell her whole career starting as a telephone operator and later as a technical service lead. Patricia's strong Catholic faith gave her great purpose in life to support St. John's Catholic Church in Fenton by volunteering in the Parish office, singing in the St. John's choir, and financially supporting St. John's many activities. She loved her friendship with Father Harvey. Patricia will be best remembered for her carefree attitude, love of the Detroit Tigers, and her red convertibles. Patricia lived life to its fullest cruising around in her Volkswagen Beetle, PT cruiser and Ford Mustang convertibles. All who were in Patricia's life were touched by an amazingly strong and kind woman. She was an active participant in her Red Hat High Tea lunches with friends Phyllis Davis, Sandy Tryles, Sally Fumich, and Eleanor Dembny. She was happiest surrounded by her family and friends while attending operas, plays, going for coffee at the Big Boy, and having High tea at the Holly Hotel. Patricia was youthful her entire life and always wanted to be with young adults and children. We thank all the young adults and children who continued to be friends and help Patricia as she matured into her senior years. Patricia was a 20-year survivor of cancer and celebrated life every day. She was preceded in death by her sister Dorothy Weitzel, her mother Cecelia, and father Felix. Patricia leaves behind her sister Alyce Cotner, nephews Howard Cotner, Mike and (Sheri) Cotner, David and (Connie) Cotner, and John Cotner. In addition, Patricia leaves behind great and great- great nieces and nephews, Tim Cotner, Stephanie (Cotner) Smith, Abigail Cotner, Fox Jacob Smith, Connor Cotner, Jacob Cotner and Naila Littell. Finally, Patricia leaves behind her great friends, especially Chuck and Phyllis Davis, who were like family to her and enriched her life greatly with love, compassion, friendship and faith.
