Patricia Ruth THOMAS

THOMAS, Patricia, age 82, of Burton, passed away Monday, February 6, 2012 at Genesys Hospice. Private services have been held. Patricia was born February 8, 1929 in Flint the youngest daughter of the late William Homer and Helen (Homer) Brant. She had been employed as a waitress by PX Barbeque in the 1980's. Patricia enjoyed playing cards and games with her family and friends, and solving crossword puzzles every day. Surviving are her 5 children, Tamarra Older (Donald Edington) of Morrice; Randolph Smith (Betsy) of Virginia, Richard Green of Monroe, Leon Thomas of Burton, Tonya Grotewold (Bill) of Grand Blanc; 9 grandchildren, Kimberly (Older) Randall, Trevor and Kevin Older, Derick Edington, Robin Smith, Rodney and Renee Green, Nicholas Thomas, and Brenden Grotewold; 9 great-grandchildren, Alex, Carter, Charlotte, Lane, Calvin, Jones, Lincoln, Landon, Joseph; 2 sisters, Joyce James and Norma Selby. She was also preceded in death by 3 grandsons, Tommy, Ricky and Billy. The family extends special thanks to The Hart family for their love and support.
