Fenton

Patricia Ann Sincock, age 88, of Fenton MI, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2021.  Honoring her wishes, burial has taken place and no services are planned.

Patricia was born March 7, 1933 in Lake Linden MI to the late Edward and Irene (Garon) Falerios. Shortly after her birth, her father seeking employment, moved the family to Flint where she grew up and graduated from Flint Technical High School in 1951.  After graduation, she worked at Flint Osteopathic Hospital in switchboard and admissions. This is where she met the love of her life, William E. Sincock Jr.  He was assisting his father painting the hospital. On June 21, 1952 she married William (Bill). Patricia worked as a legal secretary while Bill served our country from 1952-1955 in the Korean War. They lived in the Berry Patch in Flint, in 1970 they built a home in Grand Blanc where Patricia resided until she moved to Fenton in 1996.  Bill preceded Patricia in death November 16, 1976.

Patricia was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Fenton. Prior to, she was a member of Holy Redeemer in Burton. Patricia retired as a legal secretary; loved art and was a docent at the Flint Institute of Arts for many years; knit hats for chemo patients; tap danced with senior groups; and in 2004 at age 71 she proudly received an Associate in Arts from Mott Community College.

She was a member of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America since 1968.  For 41 years she was the proud owner of “Amanda” a 1931 Chevrolet Independence Coach. A “Genuine Chevrolet Woman”, she shared Amanda at car shows with the help of “Pat’s Pit Crew”. When the time came, Patricia felt blessed when a family in Linden became Amanda’s new caretakers and love her as much as she did.

Patricia leaves to cherish her memory:  children Robert Sincock of Grand Blanc, Susan Thomas and husband Craig of Durand, Bradley Sincock and wife Laura of Gaylord; grandson Ryan Sincock of Gaylord; brother James (Kathryn) Falerios of California; nephews Kenton (Patricia) Falerios of Texas, Keith (Wendy) Falerios of California, Kevin (Kim) Falerios of California; and many loving and cherished friends.

Patricia’s wish was no service or contributions.  Her family requests you honor her in the way she lived her life, through her love of God, family, and friends. She was a remarkable, vibrant woman with a flair for style, and always had a kind word and smile for everyone.
