SHOENS, Patricia Louise - Age 68, of Flint, died Sunday, March 18, 2007 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday, March 22 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held 1-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association. Patricia was born October 18, 1938 in Flint, the daughter of John and Helen (Fultner) Saxon. She worked in child care and loved to be with her grandkids. She also loved reading and crossword puzzles. She is survived by her three children, Lisa Shoens of Flint, Danette and husband Al Badour of Au Gres, Daniel Shoens of Flint; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Shoens of Mississippi; grandchildren, Sareena and husband Eric Svanberg of Au Gres, William Badour of Au Gres, Jacob Shoens, Jordan Shoens, both of Mississippi, Jared Smith of Flint; great-grandchildren, Elyssa, Erica, Gavin and Ava Svanberg of Au Gres. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Helen Saxon; sister, Sharon Guza; grandson, Joshua Combs.
