Patricia Shepard

Patricia M. Shepard, age 77, longtime resident of East Tawas, Michigan, passed away on January 5, 2023 at her daughter’s home in Fenton, Michigan. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at 12:00 Noon Friday, January 13, 2023 at the Fenton United Methodist Church - Family Life Center located at 119 S. Leroy Street, Fenton, Michigan. Contributions made in memory of Patricia to the Iosco Humane Society (3881 M-55, Tawas City, Michigan 48763).

She is survived by her children, Theresa Tousley (Conklin) of Fenton and Gregory Conklin of Livonia. She was a loving grandma to Daniel (Kayla) Tousley, Joshua Tousley, and Melissa Tousley. She was just recently blessed with a Great-granddaughter, Lyla Marie.

Patricia was born on March 22, 1945 in Livonia, Michigan to the late Robert and Helen (Norgrove) Shepard. She graduated from Bentley High School in Livonia before attending Eastern Michigan University and earning her Bachelor's Degree from Central Michigan University. Patricia was married for 30 years to the late Don Conklin. She worked for the US Postal Service as a rural carrier for 30+ years. She enjoyed traveling, reading, rescuing cats, sewing, music, politics, and genealogy.
