Patricia Plummer

MATEJCEK-PLUMMER, Patricia - went home to be with the Lord on August 14, 2014. Patricia was born May 28, 1965 in Flint, the daughter of Jack and JoAnn (Smith) Matejcek. In 1985, she married Frank Smith and gave birth to her oldest son , Jonathan. Then in 1986 came Joshua, followed by Jeremy in 1991. In 1994, she gave birth to her baby, Timothy Plummer, Jr. and married his father, Timothy Plummer Sr. in 1996. Patricia was a mother first and foremost. Everyone who knew her knew she valued her sons, daddy and granddaughter above all else. Patricia was a die hard fan of Elvis Presley and the country band Alabama. She finally managed to visit Graceland in January of this year to pay tribute to the icon she loved the most. Patricia was preceded in death by her mother, JoAnn DeMott; sister, Rebecca Rockwood; former husband, Tim Plummer Sr. She is survived by her father, Jack Matejcek of Flint; sister, Marena (Matejcek) Stadler of Fenton; sons, Jonathan, Joshua, Jeremy and Timothy; granddaughter, Taelynn; nieces, Jesse Rockwood and Cierra Wakely; nephew, David Lunn, as well as many other relatives. Patricia also had many friends that she considered family and will be missed by more stars than there are in the heavens. Services will be held 3 PM Monday, August 18, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until the time of service Monday. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the family c/o Sharp Funeral Homes.
