Patricia Phelps

PHELPS, Patricia Lou - Age 88, of Fenton, died Monday, December 11, 2017. The family will receive friends Friday, December 15, 2017 from 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association. Patricia was born June 1, 1929 in Midland, the daughter of Peter and Hazel (Sherwood) Kachiros. She married Clifford F. Phelps February 7, 1948 in Bay City and he preceded her in death October 13, 1986. She retired from the Fenton Community Schools as a cook after 25 years of service. Patricia was a member of the Fenton V.F.W. Auxiliary and the Red Hat Society. Surviving are: daughter, Bonnie and husband Ron Kile of Fenton; son, Peter and wife Marlene Phelps of Byron; granddaughters, Ann Marie and husband Jon Alvarado of Fenton, Amy and husband Dave Seelman of Genesee Township, and Heather Funk of Byron; 7 great grandchildren, Devin, Kaela, Abigail, Ava, Presley, Paxton, and Peyton; sister-in-law, Georgia Kachiros of Texas; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Alex and Robert Kachiros; and special friend, Paul Comaromi. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff at Rockwell Memory Care.
