OWEN, Patricia B. -- Age 73, of Swartz Creek, died July 27, 2017. Funeral services will be held 11AM Tuesday, August 1 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Burial at Tyrone Memory Gardens, Fenton. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association. Patricia was born May 26, 1944 in Bay City, the daughter of Carl Golombeski and Isabelle Boyer. She worked as a nurses aid and dietician at Crestmont Nursing Home, where she was able to fulfill her passion: taking care of those whom can no longer care for themselves. She worked at Crestmont for 32 years before retiring in 2007. Patricia enjoyed bowling on the bowling team at Crestmont, the "Sunday Night Leftovers." She formerly was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Fenton and was currently a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Burton. Patricia enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and her great-granddaughter. She also loved helping her family and neighbors, and working outdoors. Patricia is survived by her fiancé: Bill Owen; daughters: Denise Wise of Grand Blanc, Mechelle Charles of Durand, and Lisa Berlin of Flint; son, Thomas Owen of Swartz Creek; grandchildren: Cassie and Curtis Charles, Chelsea, Devon, and Kyle Wise, Courtney and Curren Berlin: great-granddaughter, Skyler; adopted granddaughters: Lily and Ayden Owen; sister, Carral (George) Bigger of Millington; many nieces and nephews, brothers and sister-in-laws, cousins, and many special friends.
