MARKS, Patricia E. - Age 67, of Swartz Creek, died Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at her home. Funeral Services will be held 11AM Saturday, September 30 at the Mundy Presbyterian Church, 3506 W. Grand Blanc Rd., Swartz Creek, with Kay Adair, Commissioned Lay Pastor officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, and from 10AM until the time of the funeral Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Mundy Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Marks was born August 7, 1939 in England the daughter of Eric and Catherine E. (Richardson) Mitten. She immigrated to Canada in 1963. She was married to Stanley Marks on September 26, 1964 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. They immigrated to the U.S. in 1965. Mrs. Marks was a clerk for G.M.S.P.O. retiring in 1992 with 22 years of service. She was a member of the Mundy Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed reading and traveling. Mrs. Marks is survived by: son, Shaun and wife Laine of Clarkston; grandson , Owen; son, Kevin of Swartz Creek; sister Diana and husband Cecil Houston of Byron, Ontario; brothers Ian Mitten and wife Jean, Dennis Mitten and wife Roberta, all of Northern Ireland; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Kaye Marks of Ottawa, Ontario; other in-laws, nieces and nephews of the U.K., Canada, and the U.S.; special friends, Cheryl and Darrol Roat.
