Patricia Ann Kline, age 96, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2024, in Tampa Florida. Born on October 20, 1927, in Escanaba, Michigan, Pat lived a remarkable life filled with love, wisdom, and kindness. She was married for 45 years to O. Foster Kline MD who preceded her in death. Together they had four children, Tres (Monica), Mark (Maureen), Kathy Rothschild (Doug), and Rick (Laura), eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Pat and Foster raised their family in Flint, Michigan and were actively involved with the Flint Golf Club and medical community before retiring to Gaylord in 1994.
Throughout her life, she was known for her unwavering Catholic faith and dedication to her family and friends. She cherished her role as a nurse, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, aways offering support and guidance. Pat had a passion for golf, bridge, bowling, and being with her friends and family, which brought her joy and fulfillment. She is survived by a remarkably close family, who will remember her for her strength and compassion. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. On Monday, November 11th, the family will receive friends from 4-8PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton, MI Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd. Fenton, MI 48430, where a rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to share their memories and honor her remarkable journey. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 600 N. Adelaide St. Fenton, MI 48430 with Rev. Fr. Robert Copeland celebrant. Internment of cremated remains will follow with her husband O. Foster Kline, MD, at Great Lakes National Cemetery following Mass. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Lukes New Life Center, Flint MI; reflecting her spirit of giving and love for others.
