Patricia Elaine FERGUSON

Ferguson, Patricia - age 89, of Clarkston, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2011. Pat died peacefully, with numerous family visiting and at her side over the past several days. Pat was born in Bay City on December 24, 1921, to Florence Cornish and Fred Henry. She received Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Michigan, and married Ray Edward Ferguson in July of 1945. They spent most of their married life in Holly. Mrs. Ferguson taught school in Grand Blanc for several years until her retirement in the late 1980's. Ray preceded her in death in 1965. Pat immensely enjoyed travel, both foreign and domestic, and visiting with family often. She also greatly enjoyed reading, especially history. Pat is survived by William H. and Lee Ferguson of Fenton; and Sue A. and Michael Halladay of Williamsburg, VA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; Kristi, Marc, Amy, Heather, Brie, Kate and Steven; and eleven great-grandchildren.
