DOTSON, Patricia "Patsy" Rose - Age 76, of Fenton, died Friday November 27, 2020. Funeral services will be held 12PM Tuesday, December 1st at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton.Pastor Jay Hager officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be held 4PM - 8PM Monday and 11AM until time of service Tuesday. Patricia was born October 13, 1944 in Hurley, Virginia, the daughter of Troy and Emma (Justus) Rife. She married Ronald E. Dotson on May 29, 1965 in Hurley, VA. Patsy enjoyed gardening, yard work, walking around Fenton with Ron, cooking and bird watching. She especially enjoyed watching her sons compete at their sporting events. Surviving are: husband of 55 years, Ronald Dotson of Fenton; sons, Ronald M. Dotson of Swartz Creek, Kevin R. Dotson of Fenton, Jason E. (Kelly) Dotson of Fenton, Sean D. Dotson of Fenton; grandchildren, Michael, Jordan, Thomas, Madeline, Marlee, Noah, Luke, Sadie, Caleb; great grandchildren, Jordan and Thea. She was also survived by her siblings, Jean (Robey) Rife Stacey of Grundy, VA, Donald Rife of Roanoke, VA, Jimmy Rife of Flint, MI, Johnny Rife of Roanoke, VA, Judith (Rife) Lane Oakwood, VA, Van Rife of Hurley, VA, Anita (Rife) Matney of Bristol, VA, Sandy (Rife) Morehead of Stuart, VA, Debbie Rife of Roanoke, VA, Cindy Rife Justus of Hurley, VA, Sherry (Rife) Keen of Swords Creek, VA; and many nieces nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Emma Rife; son, Timothy D. Dotson; and siblings, Dorothy Colley of Grundy, VA, Peggy Potter of Oakwood, VA, and Eddie Rife of Hurley, VA.
