Patricia Blum

BLUM, Patricia Ann- Age 72, of Goodrich MI, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at the Wellbridge Rehabilitation Center in Fenton. Funeral services will be held 12PM Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. The Reverend Sue Colavincenzo officiating. Visitation will be held 4PM - 8PM Wednesday and 10AM until time of service Thursday. Those desiring may make contributions to American Diabetes Association. Patricia was born October 14, 1944 ( a birthday she coincidentally shares with her eldest grandson) in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of the late James and Laura (Clark) Clifford. She resided in Flint for 22 years before marrying Robert Blum also of Flint. Pat and Bob were married for 51 years residing in the Grand Blanc and Goodrich area where they raised their two children. Pat was an active member of the Grand Blanc Community. She was a classroom volunteer in the Grand Blanc area schools and a member of the PTO. She also was a leader of several local Scout & Brownie troops. Pat could often be found at her children's and later grandchildren's many sporting events. In her free time, Pat enjoyed arts & crafts, needlework and crocheting. Many an evening was spent with her sisters, daughters and close circle of friends at ceramics club. Snowmobiling, camping,canoeing,shopping trips and bowling were just some of the activities that contributed to her busy life. Most of all, Pat enjoyed her large extended family. Many family gatherings were held in Grand Blanc and at the cottage on the Tittabawasee River. Watching her children and grandchildren grow up was Pat's greatest joy. That and cooking way too much food at the holiday family gatherings. Pat is survived by her husband Robert; children, Melissa and son-in-law Darrin, Jeff and ( Amy); grandchildren, Dakota, Olivia, Preston, Graham and Heath; sisters Nancy and Debbie.
