Patricia Marie Black

BLACK, Patricia Marie (Pat Potter)  age 70, of Flint, MI and Avon Park, FL, died Sunday, February 8, 2004 at Tampa General Hospital, Tampa, FL. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, February 14, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Brother Charles Terry officiating. Interment will be held at Flushing Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-9 PM Thursday and 12-4 and 6-9 PM Friday at the funeral home. Pat was born July 15, 1933 in Durand, the daughter of Raymond and Blanche (Fairbanks) Potter. She married Lester Black February 14, 1982 in Flint, MI. Pat was a member of Friendship Missionary Church in Flint and attended Riverview Heights Missionary Baptist Church in Wachula, FL. Surviving are: husband, Lester; step-father, Charles Bud Meredith; three children, Marie and husband, Garry Wilhelm of Lennon, Donna and husband, Rick Baumchen of Durand, Raymond and wife, Pam Smith of Flint; four stepchildren, Dean and wife, Shari Black of Durand, Mary C. Black of Texas, Sonja Everett of Grand Blanc, LeAnn and husband, Art Jacobs of Lennon; brother, LaVerne (Dolores) Potter; sister, Evelyn Jones; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
