Panagiota Kolokytha

KOLOKYTHA, Panagiota "Patricia" -- Age 100, of Grand Blanc, died February 23, 2015. Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday, February 25 at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 2245 E. Baldwin Rd., Grand Blanc, Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc.Visitation will be 12-8 PM Tuesday at the church with a 7 PM Trisagion service. Arrangements under the direction of Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Panagiota was born June 20, 1914 in Greece the daughter of Demetrios Stefou and Georgia (Kolokyhta) Stefou. She was married to Georgios Kolokythas on May 15, 1943; he preceded her in death April 1, 2012. She was a good mother, wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was always her primary concern. She saw her daughter Kathy as her guardian angel. Surviving are: three daughters, Polly (Gus) Saites of Grand Blanc, Demetra (Nick) Aggelis of Greece, Kathy (James) Sirakis of Grand Blanc; six grandchildren, Vicky Saites, Patricia Saites, Angelos Aggelis, Evie Sirakis, Georgios Sirakis, Vivian (Curtis) Federick; great-grandchildren, Aris, Katerina, and Stefania.
