Pamela Lee Nelson

Pamela Lee Nelson, age 63, of Flint, peacefully passed away on September 4, 2023. A celebration of Pamela's life will be held at 3 PM on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center located at 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc, MI 48507. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation hours on Monday, September 11, 2023, from 2-8 PM at the funeral home. 

Pamela was born on March 19, 1960, in Flint to her loving parents Leland and Kathleen Marie (Harding) Frownfelter. On July 2, 1975, she married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Alex Lynn Nelson. Pamela was an extraordinary individual known for her kindness and compassion. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to her roles as a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. 

One of Pamela's great passions in life was rock collecting. Additionally, Pamela had a deep appreciation for frogs and found joy in observing their playful nature. Her artistic inclinations led her towards painting and creating beautiful works of art. 

However, Pamela's greatest joy came from spending quality time with her beloved grandchildren, who called her GG. She adored them dearly and took great pleasure in creating crafts with them. The cherished memories they created together will forever hold a special place in their hearts. 

Pamela leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will continue to touch the lives of those who knew her best. She is survived by her devoted husband Alex; two loving children Nicole (Rick) Anderson II and Joshua Nelson; as well as her grandchildren Richard Anderson III and Angelina Anderson. 

Pamela is preceded in death by her parents, Leland and Kathleen Frownfelter, as well as her brothers Dale "Kurt" Frownfelter and Michael Hoffman. 

After the funeral services on Tuesday, a memorial dinner will be held at the American Legion Hall G4314 W.Carpenter Rd., Flint, MI 48504.
