Pamela L. (Plumb) Moorman

Moorman, Pamela L. (Plumb) - Age 64, of Grand Blanc, died July 18, 2024. 

Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday, July 22, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. And the funeral will be live streamed and can be viewed via the link at the base of this obituary. The Rev. Dr. Paul Ytterock officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 11 AM until the time of the funeral at 1 PM on Monday, July 22 . Those desiring may make contributions to the charity of choice. 

Pamela was born June 15, 1960 in Flint, the daughter of Douglas R. Plumb and Sharon (McQuillan) Plumb. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Central Michigan University. She married Gilbert L. Moorman on March 9, 1996; Gil preceded her in death November 20, 2021. Pam had worked for Warwick Pointe Academy for four years, and then Kearsley Community Schools for 23 years. She retired in 2010 and continued substitute teaching. She loved all children and they loved her. Teaching really was her passion, not only with her students but with family and friends in everyday life. Pam enjoyed traveling. Paris, France was her favorite. She enjoyed sharing her knowledge of her travel experiences and traveling to her favorite places with family and friends. She loved reading, her dog, and gardening. She was meticulous about her gardens and yard. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She took great joy in spending time with her nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. 

Surviving are: brother Mike (Debbie) Plumb of Florida; sister Kim (Jamie) Shaaia of Arizona; nephews and niece, Robbie (Anna) Shaaia of Shelby Township, Chelsie (Aaron) Pancholi of Arizona, Ryan Plumb of St. Johns, Kevin Plumb of Lansing; step-daughters, Marie (Tim) Cox of South Lyon; Stephanie (Mark) Collins of Northville; five grandchildren, Olivia, Luke, Jacob, Elise, and Matthew.
