Pamela Hanson

Hanson, Pamela Sue - Age 35, of Fenton, died on February 1, 2018 at her home in Fenton. Funeral services will be held 12PM Monday February 5 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Visitation will be held 12-5 PM Sunday, and 10AM Monday until the time of service Monday. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Hurley Children's Miracle Network, Hurley Pediatric Cancer Unit, or Shriner's Hospital. Pam was born September 21, 1982, the daughter of Terry and Sarah (Taylor) Hanson. She was loved by many and enjoyed being around people of all ages. Pam bowled on the Terminators League in Grand Blanc for several years and attended Wolcott Cornerstone facility daily where she could interact with other special need friends. She was a member of Flint Baptist Temple in Flint and was loved by her church family. Pam enjoyed music, spending time with family at the lake or celebrating birthdays and having her pictures taken with all her favorite people. She volunteered as a bell ringer with the Salvation Army. She is survived by her parents; sisters, Lee Haney, Jennifer (Brett) Davies; 3 nieces, Megan and Samantha Haney, and Kyla Davies all of Las Vegas, NV; Pam is also survived by her Aunt Patricia Palmer of New Bern, North Carolina; Uncle David (Lucille) Taylor of Swartz Creek; numerous cousins; and close friends; special friend, Josh Knapp. In addition to her loving parents, she was fortunate to have a wonderful caregiver, Gwen Dugdale, for most of her adult life. Gwen is a special person and very much appreciated by us all. Thank you also to the staff of Heartland Hospice who attended to Pam during her final struggle.
