DAME, Oscar Kenneth, age 76, a resident of Flint Twp., died Saturday, July 23, 2005 at Genesys Health Park.  Mr. Dame was born in Pocahontas, Arkansas August 27, 1928  the son of David and Della (Hickey) Dame.  He has been a Flint area resident the past 41 years. Mr. Dame was a set-up person at General Motors and retired after many years of service.  He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Germany during the Korean conflict. Mr.Dame was a workaholic he enjoyed cars and his tractors. Surviving are 5 chilren: David Dame and wife Sherry, Daniel Dame and wife Barb, Thomas Dame, Mona Dame and finance Ken Adams, and Karen Priebe and husband Tim.  Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, a sister, Helen Clewis and husband Gil  and 2 brothers, Gene and Robert Dame along with several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Ruth (Strassburger) Dame in April of 1986. Services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd. (Just South of Hill Rd.)  Pastor Tim Young will officiate and burial will follow in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. tonight and Tuesday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. and Wednesday from 10 A.M. to service time.
