Opal Smith

SMITH, Opal Lucille - Age 94, of Burton, died October 30, 2021. No public services will be held. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Opal was born September 3, 1927 in Leachville, AR., the daughter of Clyde and Pearl (Bolin) Hicks. She married Harmon Smith in Flint on May 19, 1951. Opal loved to cook. She was very competitive in anything she was involved with. Opal retired from General Motors, AC Spark Plug with 10 years of service. She is survived by her husband, Harmon Smith of Burton; children, Guy (Christine Mienkwic) Smith of Swartz Creek, Lisa Adams of Arkansas, Ty (Joann) Smith of Fenton; grandsons, Jason Adams, Kyle Smith, Adam Smith, and Zach Smith; 10 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
