Onalee Elizabeth 'Aunt Sue' PETERSON

PETERSON, Onalee Elizabeth "Aunt Sue" - Age 80, of Linden, died January 25, 2010 at Genesys Convalescent Center. Funeral services will be held 7 PM Friday, January 29, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Pastor Will Stanke will officiate. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Thursday and 4 PM until the time of service Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Onalee was born March 21, 1929 in Flint, the daughter of James E. and Mary E. (Hartman) Howey. She was married to Donald W. Peterson on May 1, 1953; he preceded her in death on September 23, 1999. Mrs. Peterson was an active member of First Baptist Church in Fenton, where she was very involved in music and Sunday School. She has been fondly remembered by the kids from Vacation Bible School as "Aunt Sue". Surviving are: son, John Peterson and partner Will Cronk of Swartz Creek; grandchildren, Eric (Tyler) Peterson, Lisa Peterson, Jamie (Steph) Falquet; great-grandchildren, Trenton Peterson and Chase Falquet; stepchildren, Paul (Cathy) Peterson, Douglas Peterson and Mark Peterson; step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
